- School Day: 8:30 AM – 3:45 PM
- School Day with Extended AM: 7:15 AM- 3:45 PM
Program Overview:
Age Groups:
- Pre-K: 4 years old
Must turn 4 by September 1, 2025. Students who are considering placement in Young 5’s the following year may also be considered for Pre-K and must have a birthdate prior to December 1, 2020. There are no exceptions for children who turn 5 after December 1. Children must be fully potty-trained for all Pre-K programs.
Curriculum:
- -Incorporates HighScope principles: Children construct their own learning by engaging with materials, people, and ideas.
- -Play-based learning model: Emphasizes that play is the critical work of early childhood.
- -Active, hands-on learning: Children learn best by doing, exploring, and interacting with their environment.
- -Outdoor play: Ample time spent outdoors to foster physical development, social interaction, and a connection to nature.
- -Well-rounded development: Focus on cognitive, physical, and social-emotional growth through varied activities (free play, structured group work, creative expression, etc.).
