• GPPSS Green Team Plastics Recycling Fundraiser

    The Grosse Pointe Public School System is participating in a district-wide fundraiser with Local Motion Green at the Ecology Center to place plastic recycling bins on each ball field and school property. Schools are receiving matching donations through a grant from the Worthington Family Foundation, bringing the cost per bin down to $200. Local businesses interested in sponsoring a bin can do so for $500 (no matching funds are currently available) and in return will have their business logo on the bin as well. Your support will help place 37 recycling bins at 15 public school field locations. Our goal is to have the first shipment of bins in place by Earth Day 2015. Please see the info below.
