Human Resources- How To Apply for a Job
First things first ...
Fill out our on-line application. It is easy and friendly. Just click or type where necessary. Be sure to read the closing statement before clicking the final send button. And, submit your application only once. It is valid for one year.
Send us your cover letter and resume; saved or scanned attachments are strongly preferred. The application has a link which makes this easy.
If you are applying for a Certified Job (teacher, administrator, substitute teacher, psychologist, social worker, etc.) please attach the following:
- your teaching certificate
- your student transcripts
- your placement (credential) file (or 3 letters of reference if you do not have a placement file) to your application. There is a link provided on the application to accomplish this task.
During our changeover period...
Due to the high volume of applications involved, we must limit our scans of your materials to those current, posted vacancies. Please attempt to scan and attach your materials yourself to assure timely review of your documents. It is really easy!
What if I see an open position?
The new program requires you to actively apply. This means you must click on the posting button that will electronically link your completed application to the posting for review. You need to complete the application only once; you must link each time a position is open.
What if I want to make changes?
The paperless system allows you to re-visit your application to update information at any time. Just put in your password! If you have forgotten it, there is an electronic link to request a reminder.Did you get my information?
The paperless system places the power and responsibility of your application in your hands. No more worries! The automated response system assures you your application has been processed.
While we prefer you attempt to complete the process as established, sometimes things happen! We have a dedicated application computer in our office. You may schedule an appointment to use it if you have no other resource available.
One last note...
For your protection, our new system requires you have an e-mail address as your unique identifier. We no longer will use your social security number. If you don't have an e-mail, the application provides a link to set up one. If you are mailing documents to our office, you must provide your e-mail information in the upper right hand corner to assure we link your materials to your application.
