School Transfer Requests

  • On October 14, 2019 the Board of Education adopted Board Policy and Administrative Guideline 4.04.01 that changed the student transfer policy for the district HERE. This newly revised policy eliminates transfers for students in grades kindergarten through 8th grade. 

    High school transfers will only be considered for future school years and not mid-year. Typically, a transfer request that has been denied will not be reconsidered until the next school year. If you have any questions regarding the transfer process, please contact Sara Morris at morriss@gpschools.org

    All transfer decisions (approved/denied/on hold) will be made by U.S. Mail and/or email by June 30th.
