It is in that spirit that I bring you, in good faith, an opportunity. According to the September 26, 2022 meeting minutes of the Westland School Board (who is also pursuing a AHC site at John Glen High School), the Beaumont Foundation provided a grant of $200,000 to help offset construction costs.
Can the District request and pursue a similar grant from Beaumont post haste? It seems like it would be a straightforward ask, since they are the primary grantee and provider for this clinic.
Perhaps it could also be used as seed money to pursue additional grant monies from other local foundations, especially given the elevated profile this project now has in the community?LINK TO MEETING MINUTES
