    Community members may have decided to come speak on this as an action agenda item. It is a disservice to them to move it at the last minute.

    Please have Denise update the agenda to reflect the captions of the items as submitted upon receipt of this email.


    The item I asked be added to the Action Agenda was "Affirmation of District Direction on 2014-15 Audit Results Relative to Labor Contracts".  The agenda has this item listed as "Approval of GPPSS 2015-16 Modified Formula Contract Implementation".


    One item has absolutely nothing to do with the other.  This misleading posting has caused a lot of unnecessary angst in the community and amongst the staff, as it has created the misconception that my action item has to do with cutting staff pay rather than its intent that a pay cut be avoided.  The item that has been captioned couldn't technically even take place until after the results of the 2015-16 audit are received.


    Who made the decision to re-caption my agenda item?  In the future, I would appreciate the courtesy of a phone call if, while building the agenda, someone feels that the captioning of an agenda item I have submitted needs to be corrected.


    Please see that this correction is made along with my prior request that Items M and N be moved to the Information and Discussion Items portion of the meeting and that a new agenda is posted to our website immediately and that a revised agenda be posted on the website and be distributed to board members and administration.  There is no reason that these items should wait until this evening to be addressed, and, in fact, it would be improper to further distribute this incorrect information.


    In addition, please open the meeting with an apology as to the confusion so that the public knows what happened.
