It is with deep sadness and a heavy heart that I share the tragic passing of Katie Ecclestone.  Katie was a dear friend to many, a dedicated volunteer and co-worker, and most importantly, a devoted mother and wife.  Her contributions to the community, the Mothers’ Club, and the Grosse Pointe Public Schools made her a standout among her peers.  She was quietly capable, wonderfully goofy, and the light of so many lives; to say she will be missed is an incredible understatement.  Our hearts and prayers go out to her family, friends, and all who knew her.  Arrangements are pending and will be shared as soon as they are available.
