The Destination Imagination team will be representing the Grosse Pointe school System in an International competition. I think serious thought should be given to supplementing their effort to raise money so that every member of the team will be able to attend the Global Competition in Knoxville, Tennessee.
It is rare that our school system has been represented at the Global level, competing against many countries from around the world. I would like to find out from the team's sponsors what the shortfall is in their funds, so that all members may attend and participate in this phenomenal experience and exposure for our school system and community.
Thank you,
Cindy
