Grosse Pointe Writing Assessment

All middle school students take the GP Writing Assessment in the spring during English class.

MSTEP

The Michigan Student Test of Educational Progress is a standardized test taken by all public school students in Michigan. Students take the MEAP in October. Results arrive in March. http://www.michigan.gov/mde/0,4615,7-140-22709_70117---,00.html

NWEA

The Northwest Evaluation Association (NWEA) is a computerized test that takes place throughout the year. Math and Reading are monitored for student growth.
