Foods at Nutrition is one of the most demanded elective courses at Parcells! Students spend the semester learning their way around the kitchen with cooking labs 2-3 days per week. A wide variety of items will be prepared. For a sampling of our recipes, please visit my recipe tab.
In addition, the course places a heavy emphasis on nutrition and healthy eating. Students will leave the semester with recipes and knowledge to help them lead a healthy lifestyle. We allow students to repeat this course, please view the attached pacing guides (rotated each year) for specific unit topics covered.
