    Class council is hosting a dodgeball tournament, May 21st, at 2 pm in the Boll center gym. Sign-ups will be available during both lunches until the 17th. It's 5 dollars each to enter. Teams will have 6 players each! You can sign up alone or make your own team. Either way, come and enjoy this fun tournament. Winners will receive candy, gift cards, and trophies.

    The Champions for change all school inclusion event is to happen Tuesday, May 17at both lunches! Come and bring your friends, play some games, sign a pledge to share kindness, and enjoy an ice cream or popcorn. The Champions for Change event is aimed to spread awareness for kids who struggle with learning differences.5th hour a guest speaker, Mr. Peace, a local graduate of the University of Michigan, will speak to students about diversity, inclusion, and kindness.

    Club News
    Interact Service Club is looking for next year's leaders! All positions will be available, including President, VP, Secretary, Treasurer, and Media Manager. Swing by room 297 for an application form and email Mr. Cox with any questions. Elections are May 18th, right after school in room 297. 

    Just a reminder that NHS students are available to tutor in the South library without an appointment in the mornings every Monday from 7:50 - 8:35 and Friday from 7:15- 8:00 and after school every Wednesday and Thursday from 3:10 - 4 PM. Please stop in and take advantage of free tutoring!

    Sports
    The JV Softball Team played strong during the Romeo Strike Out Cancer Tournament this weekend. The team was undefeated on Saturday, winning two games and tying one! Murphy Russell and Charlotte O'Dell were the winning pitchers on Saturday. Lucy Gabel, Maddie Agnone, Ella Taylor, Maggie O'Brien, and Kate Dixon were the heavy hitters on Saturday to help the Blue Devils score a total of 29 runs over 3 games.

    South fought hard on Sunday against the Dakota Cougars, but unfortunately could not come up with the win. The team worked very hard this weekend and did their best!
