    School News:

Students remember that your devices are needed, charged, and ready to go. The library has a limited supply to offer.

The Staff vs Student kickball game was won by the teachers this year!!! Congratulations!

The end of the school year is in sight and that means the library will begin preparing to shut down for the summer. Please start to return any checked out library books .We strongly encourage students to visit the public library branches, request library books online for pick up at a public library branch, or check out digital books using SORA. Most important thing to remember - keep reading all summer long!

Colorguard is a part of Grosse Pointe South’s Marching Band. We dance with props - flag, (wooden) rifle, and other equipment that we use each year. We perform at halftime of all of South’s football games and march in the Homecoming Parade and the Santa Parade the Friday after Thanksgiving. It’s perfect for people who want to perform and might not have a lot of dance experience, or just want to try something new. The show’s theme this year is “Illumination” and we are using light-up equipment. If you're interested, there is a meeting TODAY in the Grosse Pointe South band room at 3:30-4:30 pm. See Mr. Takis in the band room 103 before school or at the start of first hour for more details.

Coming up next week: Memorial Day on Monday - No School. Pierce Instrumental Concert - May 29th beginning at 7 PM at South. Tennis on June 1st - Final Tournament.
