Please read below and please understand that Jon and I sat with the Bloomfield Hills Superintendent, board member and Assistant for HR last Wednesday at Administrative Evaluation training. Bloomfield Hills is equally happy with the employee student program. It generates revenue, is administered well and plans are to continue. Jon knows Birmingham well and we are peer districts with Bloomfield Hills. They would be honest with us if they had issues.
Thanks,

Earlier today I communicated with Paul DeAngelis in the Birmingham Public Schools. He indicated that BPS has had success with the program to enroll the students of staff members. This program has gained substantial revenue for the district. The district has no plans to reduce or discontinue this program.

Subject: ClarificationGood morning,
Can we as a board get clarification on Diane K's claim that Birmingham loses money on allowing non-resident teacher children to attend their schools
Giving board members the correct information will be helpful
Thank you
