    Hello Mr. Ismail, GPPSS School Board members, and Dr. Niehaus;

    Thank you for the information you sent as attachments, and for including the school board and Dr. Niehaus’ e-mail addresses in your reply, Ahmed.  I was unsuccessful in my effort to locate board members or the superintendent’s e-mail address on the GPPSS website.  The only school board member e-mails I could readily locate were Ahmed Ismail’s, and Lois Valente’s.  (I apologize if I’ve misspelled Ms. Valente’s name here.)

    I wish to express my opinion that I am opposed to implementing a closed campus lunch at our schools.  Our children are currently attending school; they are not serving time incarcerated in prison.

    As far as the security classification of “Extremely Vulnerable” by the third party evaluator, -how much did that information cost the school system?  Evaluating our lives in general, we would find we are extremely vulnerable in many places in our community: the grocery, library, theater, places of worship, etc.   Is the school board also considering discontinuing the North-South football game?

    Please note that I attempted to post my opinion regarding this subject within Dr. Niehaus’ “blog” on the GPPSS website, however, my comment did not appear to “post”.  I noticed there are (0) comments posted throughout Dr. Niehaus’ blog.  Perhaps comments entered by readers are never posted?  Does anyone read the blog?  (Dr. Niehaus may wish to check how many “hits” his blog receives, and if there is a problem with reader comments being able to post.)

    I am interested in understanding the method that would be used to track students when leaving campus, another suggestion by Compliance One.

    Please advise where I might locate that information?

    Thank you,

    Pam MacKay
