Here is an update regarding last nights Harper Woods planning commission vote on the proposed rehab facility.

"HARPER WOODS, Mich. -

The Harper Woods planning commission has voted against a proposal to turn an old community church into a drug rehab center.

People living near the Peter Parish House have been expressing concerns about the rehab center and how it could impact their neighborhood.

They packed a commission meeting last night to voice their opposition.

The panel voted it down but the full city council will have the final say in the coming weeks."
