Subject: Re: FW: REHAB in Grosse Pte School District 19851 Anita Street ProposalAt this time administration has no plans on attending. The facility is by Eastland mall. We as a board have not discussed this issue. I would encourage any board member with concerns to attend this evenings meeting. If a board member were to make a public statement it would be their opinion at this time and would need to be stated as such publicly.
If one or more board members would like to discuss this issue it could be added as an information and discussion topic at a future meeting. With the understanding all those involved would have a voice.
I will do my best to attend this evenings meeting to understand the proposal and citizens concerns.
Respectfully
Judy Gafa

Subject: REHAB in Grosse Pte School District 19851 Anita Street ProposalGood Morning,
Attached please find the power point presentation that will be presented tonight to the Harper Woods Residents regarding the proposal to have a Drug and Alcohol rehabilitation facility located in the middle of a residential street. The Proposal is from Eastwood Clinics which is an affiliate of St. John Providence and are working closely with the Arch Dioceses of Detroit.
Again I am asking for someone from the school board office to please attend the meeting tonight, 7:00 pm at Harper Woods Court House, 19617 Harper Avenue, Harper Woods.
While at a meeting last night with many of my neighbors, I informed them that I have been in touch with our school board and they were relieved and hopeful to know that our school district puts the safety of our students before anything else.
Please contact me with any questions. Thank you in advance for your help and support, and for those of you that are unable to attend this evening please submit a letter to the City Clerk or the City Manager, by 5pm, lfrank@harperwoods.net or rskort@harperwoods.net. additional information may be found at Harperwoodscity.org
Sincerely,
Micki Jenny
