    This email is in response to your email below addressed to the school board regarding our wonderful staff.

     

    While I cannot speak for the other members of the school board, I agree with you both that we are all blessed to have such a wonderful staff in our schools.  Like you both with Hannah and Will, all three of our boys' lives were changed by our staff.

     

    There is a particularly good staff member I have seen for many, many years watching after the safety of our children on the corner of Vernier and Mack Avenues.  :)

    This is a happy-gram! Our second child is completing high school this spring. Throughout our four years--and four years for the older sibling who graduated in 2010--our students and we ourselves have experienced the very highest imaginable order of tender education from teachers, administrators, staff, counselors, coaches and custodians. These people deep-down love what they're doing! They took a 20 percent cut in their modest compensation a few years ago, yet they are happy in their work. We suppose they could have gone and done something else, but they didn't. They work in ministry. Thank you Grosse Pointe Public School System, top to bottom.
