Transfer Requests

School Transfer Requests

The Board of Education modified the Board Policy and Administrative Guideline 4.04.01, which changed the student transfer policy for the district here. This newly revised policy allows case-by-case transfers for students at all levels.

Transfers will only be considered for future school years and not mid-year. Typically, a transfer request that has been denied will not be reconsidered until the next school year. If you have any questions regarding the transfer process, please contact Lisa Sicklesteel.

Transfer Requests will be considered 3 times each year for the upcoming school year.

Window 1:Primary Requests is closed. Submissions for Window 2 open on May 15th. 

The request windows are as follows:

Window 1: Primary Request Window

Application Opens: February 15th

Application Closes: April 15th

Decision Notification: By May 8th

Effective Date (if approved): Start of the following school year

Window 2: Secondary Request Window

Application Opens: May 15th

Application Closes: June 15th

Decision Notification: By July 15th

Effective Date (if approved): Start of the following school year

Window 3: Final Request Window

Application Opens: August 3rd

Application Closes: August 10th

Decision Notification: By August 17th

Effective Date (if approved): Start of the following school year
