Positive Learning Environment Survey
Students learn best when they are engaged in meaningful activity in a learning environment that is safe, orderly and productive. To continue to foster such a learning environment, the district has developed a number of policies and procedures for this purpose. Attention to student behavior is a critical component of this work. This survey attempts to assess the opinion of parents, students and staff about the learning environment in school and ways that it might be improved.
Here are links to three surveys:
- one for elementary,
- another for middle school,
- and a third for high school.
Please complete those survey (-s) at the level (-s) in which you have children, teach or where you are currently enrolled.
Each survey should take about ten minutes to complete. The survey will be taken down May 9, 2008, at the close of business. Thank you for your involvement in this important work.
Community members without children in our schools are also welcome to take the survey, skipping sections as appropriate, or to share their opinions and suggestions by calling Rebecca Fannon at 313/432-3007. That same contact information may be used to obtain paper copies of the survey for those without internet access.
