It is an absolute fact that student’s do better in school when parents and school staff work together in the best interests of the student.  Parent involvement in a child’s education is one of the critical factors in the child’s educational and future success. 

The Department of Student Services has among its top priorities, the facilitation of parent involvement in as many ways as possible with a particular focus on parent education and parent support.  Thus, we have organized this website section to help parents become more knowledgeable about opportunities available to increase your knowledge and skills in this journey called parenthood.  We looked high and low, far and wide for the instructional manual for parenting and we could not find it!  However, if we support and educate each other, we are quite likely to chart a great course and successfully navigate the journey.
