Middle School- Pointe After

Important: Due to the lack of interest, the Pointe After Programs at Brownell and Pierce Middle Schools will NOT be opening for the 2007-08 school year. Please contact our office at 432-3067 for alternative options. Parcells Middle School will open, and if at the end of a two week period there are 20 students enrolled, the program will remain open.

Pointe After Complete Format Package

The Grosse Pointe Public School System recognizes the need for school-based childcare in this community. Officially titled “School-Age Child Care Program” (but informally known as “Kids Club and Pointe After”), this self- supporting program is aimed at providing a supervised and safe environment for elementary school children before and after school.

Interesting activities are planned which are developmentally appropriate and enhance physical, intellectual, social and emotional growth. The opportunity to be with friends in a supervised program benefits children and offers parents a safe, practical solution for childcare needs before and after school.

Please call the Pointe After office (432-3067) for the most up-to-date information. A decision will be made by August 24, 2006. Enrollment fees will be refunded in the case of cancellation.
