Budget & Finance Discussion Pieces

At their work session, these pieces were discussed by the Board of Education and the administration. They are part of an ongoing dialogue for cost savings and budget planning and were developed in response to the Board’s Budget Resolution. All of the information is for discussion purposes only, and no final decisions have been made.

Please note while reading the forecast page, that the district does not deficit spend. As Dr. Klein has said before, if we were to take our arms and wrap them around all the programs we have now, then carry that forward to the next year, you can see how much more it would cost to run them. The Board and administration are working closely to address that shortfall and encourage your participation in the planning and discussion.
