Our class visited the Metro Beach Nature Center as part of our study on invertebrate animals. The first part of our morning was spent exploring the exhibit room. Next, we were ushered into another room where we saw many examples of vertebrate and invertebrate animals. We were especially thrilled by the live animals. We were saddened by the stuffed animals that had been hit by cars or had died an untimely death, but we were happy that the Nature Center could use them to teach children about animals. Lastly, we took a nature walk. Here are some pictures of our trip. (Click on a picture to see a larger version.)
