Mark has been employed by the Grosse Pointe School System since September, 1975.  He worked for 20 1/2 years at Defer Elementary in Grosse Pointe Park before coming to Ferry School in 1995. 

            Mr. Mark, as the students fondly call him, is a very visible part of Ferry activities.  Whether it's setting up the gym for lunch and special assemblies or helping a child with his locker, he is always around with a smile and a helping hand.\

   .  In his spare time, he likes to go see action, science fiction and comedy movies.  He also enjoys biking and walking in the area.  Working on his home is another pastime which Mark is good at.  He wallpapers and paints, as well as doing some remodeling on his home.
