The Grosse Pointe Public Schools' Department of Community Education offers a comprehensive program of leisure-time activities for children and adults.

Classes and activities are offered in aquatics, arts and crafts, computers, foreign languages, sports and exercise, and other special interest areas. Brochures describing community education courses are mailed to all school district residents twice a year (PDF versions of the current brochure and various forms are located to the right).

The Department of Community Education is located at Barnes School, 20090 Morningside Drive, Grosse Pointe Woods; classes and activities are held in buildings throughout the school district.
