Defer has the month of October to raise money and/or donate clothes to the Full Circle upscale resale shop that is just underway.  This non-profit organization is trying to establish a business that resells upscale and gently used clothing donated by the Grosse Pointe community.  In addition to generating income, the shop will provide job training and work experience for young adults with special needs in the community.  The entire district is supporting this fundraiser.

 So… some events that we will be hosting here at Defer include…

                                    Friday, Oct. 10^th, kids wear a hat for $1, adults donate for denim

The week of the 13^th… sell tickets in the am for cookie sale at lunch time, on Wed, Oct. 15^th and Friday, Oct. 17^th

The week of the 20^th we will host a winter clothing drive

We are still working on plans for the last week in October.
