Scientist Quiz Game

·         Choose a famous scientist and research their life.

1.      Open the "Scientist Information" document in the handouts folder.

2.      Follow the instructions on the page.

·         Create a quiz slideshow on PowerPoint using at least 5 questions about your scientist.

·         The first slide is the title slide. The title should be the name of the scientist. Include a picture of the scientist. Put your first name with last initial, class and date in the subtitle box.

·         On the question slides, you must have an action button for the wrong answer choice and an action button for the right answer choice.  The action buttons must hyperlink to the answer slide and use a sound, like such as a buzzer if it is the wrong answer and for the correct answer, have a different sound, such as applause.

·         Each question slide should have one correct answer slide and one incorrect answer slide. These slides should be hidden.

·         The correct answer slides should have a message repeating the question and answer; i.e. "Correct, she studied the effects of radiation on people."  And a button to go to the next question. To get a higher grade add an animation, a reward sound/music, and appropriate artwork.

·         The incorrect answer slides should have a message that tells them they're wrong and an action button that goes back to the question slide so they have another chance to answer. To get a higher grade add an animation, a reward sound/music, and appropriate artwork.

·         The final slide should thank them for playing.

·         Go to the Slide Show menu and choose Slide Transitions. Make sure that the Advance slide options are NOT checked.

·         The more questions you do, the higher your grade. Use a variety of clipart, animated gifs, auto shapes, and pictures. Remember: the more work you do, the higher the quality of the work; the better your grade will be.
